Unitree Set Oct. 22 for a Physical AI Conference in Hangzhou
Unitree said on Sept. 28 it will host the 2026 World Physical AI Conference and a partner summit on Oct. 22 in Hangzhou, with more than 3,000 guests expected.
So basically: Unitree picked Oct. 22 for a physical AI conference in Hangzhou. It is a partner summit, not a new robot launch, and it is a little over three weeks away.
The date
Unitree posted the plan on its official WeChat on Sept. 28, The Yangtzeer reported. The event is the 2026 World Physical AI Conference and the Unitree Partner Ecosystem Conference. It is at the second phase of the Hangzhou International Expo Center.
Unitree said it expects more than 3,000 guests. The schedule it described is a main forum, seven side sessions, and more than 40 exhibition areas. The company says it will show its full robot lineup and its open source work on embodied AI.
The same day includes startup pitches under the Yuchuang Plan. That program is meant to connect new projects with factories and investors.
What it is not
This is not a launch countdown. Unitree did not announce a new robot, a price, or a ship date in the post The Yangtzeer described. The news is the calendar: one day, in Hangzhou, built around partners.
My take
Unitree already sells robots. Oct. 22 is about the people around them: partners, startups, and an open source pitch. The thing to watch is whether anyone on that stage shows a real change in the product, or whether the day stays a partner meeting.
So basically — pass it on.
